So this is Liu Bolin. He hides for a living. Okay, more specifically he is a Chinese artist who photographs himself blending into his surroundings. He does so by painting himself (with the help of two assistants) so that he’ll blend seamlessly into the background. This can take hours and and his camouflage can be anything from velvet to rocks to grocery shelves to metal to any combination of textures, materials, patterns, and shades. They even include shadows and extreme detail.
